Wtyczka WordPress Simple Shopping Cart wcześniejsza niż 5.2.6 nie pomija niektórych wartości pól ustawień przed wyświetleniem ich na stronie ustawień administratora, umożliwiając użytkownikom o wysokich uprawnieniach, takim jak administratorzy, przeprowadzanie ataków Stored Cross-Site Scripting, co ma szczególnie wpływ na instalacje na wielu serwerach, gdzie administratorzy nie mają możliwości unfiltered_html.
