EdgeEver Desktop w wersjach od 1.6.26 do 1.112.0 zawiera obejście listy dozwolonych nawigacji, które umożliwia atakującym załadowanie dowolnych źródeł w oknie głównym poprzez dopasowanie adresu URL z prefiksem ciągu znaków. Osoby atakujące mogą osadzić łącze, korzystając ze składni informacji o użytkowniku, po przedrostku dev-server, na przykład w podglądzie szablonu notatki, aby uzyskać mostek EdgeeverDesktop zawierający token sesji, kanały sidecar RPC i ACP.
