Powerlevel10k do 1.20.0 zawiera lukę w zabezpieczeniach niebezpiecznego pobierania w skrypcie gitstatus/install, która wyłącza weryfikację certyfikatu TLS za pomocą polecenia curl -k i pomija sprawdzanie integralności, jeśli nie istnieje narzędzie SHA-256. Osoby atakujące za pośrednictwem sieci mogą przechwycić żądanie lustrzane github.com i zastąpić złośliwym archiwum, które przy każdym monitie działa jako demon gitstatusd na koncie użytkownika.
