Tłumaczenie automatyczne – może zawierać nieścisłości.
ELFIO do wersji 3.12 zawiera lukę w zabezpieczeniach umożliwiającą wyłuskiwanie wskaźnika NULL w funkcji relocation_section_access lub get_entry(), która umożliwia atakującym zawieszanie aplikacji za pośrednictwem niezweryfikowanego indeksu sh_link. Atakujący mogą dostarczyć spreparowany plik ELF, którego sekcja SHT_REL lub SHT_RELA zawiera wiszące sh_link, powodując, że funkcja find_hash_section() usuwa referencje o wartości null i odmawia usługi.
