Tłumaczenie automatyczne – może zawierać nieścisłości.
Libewf do 20260924 zawiera lukę w zabezpieczeniach umożliwiającą odczyt poza granicami sterty w libewf_lef_extended_attribute_read_data(), ponieważ nazwy i wartości w formacie UTF-16 są sprawdzane przed podwojeniem. Osoby atakujące mogą dostarczyć spreparowany plik .L01/.Lx01 ze zbyt dużą liczbą metadanych „ea”, aby spowodować awarię aplikacji lub wyciek niezainicjowanej pamięci sterty poprzez rozszerzone atrybuty.
