Driftregion iso14229 przed wersją 0.10.1 zawiera zawijanie liczb całkowitych w Handle_0x38_RequestFileTransfer, które pozwala nieuwierzytelnionym atakującym ominąć sprawdzanie długości ścieżki pliku. Atakujący mogą wysłać krótkie żądanie RequestFileTransfer (SID 0x38) z filePathAndNameLength 0xFFFC-0xFFFF, powodując, że wywołania zwrotne będą czytać poza bufor odbioru, zawieszając cele lub ujawniając pamięć.
