NoteGen do wersji 0.38.3 zawiera zewnętrzną kontrolę luki w ścieżce plików w analizie obrazu na czacie, która umożliwia atakującym odczytanie lokalnych plików obrazów za pośrednictwem niezweryfikowanych zsynchronizowanych ścieżek sourceUrl. Osoby atakujące posiadające uprawnienia do zapisu w celu synchronizacji ofiary mogą umieszczać ścieżki bezwzględne lub adresy URL file://, powodując, że image_inspect wysyła lokalne obrazy do dostawcy sztucznej inteligencji.
