Tłumaczenie automatyczne – może zawierać nieścisłości.
smpeg do 2.0.0 zawiera lukę w zabezpieczeniach MPEGsystem::FillBuffer(), umożliwiającą odczyt poza granicami sterty, która umożliwia atakującym odczytanie bufora o wielkości 16384 bajtów poprzez dostarczenie spreparowanej tabeli strumieni nagłówków systemowych. Atakujący mogą dostarczyć plik MPEG, którego wszystkie bajty tabeli strumienia ustawiają najwyższy bit, co powoduje awarię aplikacji otwierających go za pośrednictwem SMPEG_new, SMPEG_new_rwops lub SMPEG_new_data.
