Tłumaczenie automatyczne – może zawierać nieścisłości.
smpeg do 2.0.0 zawiera lukę w zabezpieczeniach związaną z niedopełnieniem liczby całkowitej w funkcji stream_header() w MPEGsystem.cpp, która umożliwia atakującym zawijanie package_size poprzez deklarowanie zbyt małej długości pakietu. Atakujący mogą dostarczyć spreparowany plik MPEG otwarty za pośrednictwem SMPEG_new, SMPEG_new_rwops lub SMPEG_new_data, aby wyzwolić osiągalną asercję lub kopię poza granicami, powodując awarię aplikacji.
