Tłumaczenie automatyczne – może zawierać nieścisłości.
Gitify przed wersją 7.10.0 zawiera lukę w zabezpieczeniach umożliwiającą fałszowanie żądań logowania między witrynami, która umożliwia zdalnym atakującym powiązanie klienta ofiary z jej kontem, ponieważ performGitHubWebOAuth() pomija sprawdzanie stanu OAuth. Atakujący mogą uzyskać link gitify://oauth?code= z własnym kodem autoryzacyjnym otwartym podczas oczekującego logowania ofiary, co powoduje, że Gitify wyświetla powiadomienia kontrolowane przez osobę atakującą jako powiadomienia należące do ofiary.
