Oprogramowanie pośrednie USB NXP MCUXpresso SDK (mcuxsdk-middleware-usb) przed wersją 2.13.0 zawiera przepełnienie bufora sterty w sterownikach hosta audio, wideo i klasy CDC, które ufają dostarczonym przez urządzenie wartościom bNumEndpoints i bLength. Złośliwe urządzenie USB może dostarczać spreparowane deskryptory, które zapisują wpisy punktów końcowych poza tablicą epList o stałym rozmiarze, uszkadzając pamięć sterty w celu wykonania kodu lub odmowy usługi.
