Tłumaczenie automatyczne – może zawierać nieścisłości.
Zestaw Sleuth do wersji 4.15.0 zawiera lukę w zabezpieczeniach umożliwiającą dereferencję wskaźnika NULL w funkcji decmpfs_decompress_lzvn_attr(), która umożliwia atakującym awarię narzędzia poprzez dostarczenie spreparowanego obrazu HFS+. Atakujący mogą ustawić ogromną wartość uncompressed_size we wbudowanym atrybucie LZVN com.apple.decmpfs, co spowoduje, że alokacja nie powiedzie się, a dekoder zapisze wartość NULL, powodując odmowę usługi.
