Wtyczka LatePoint - Rezerwacja spotkania i rezerwacja dla WordPressa jest podatna na ataki Insecure Direct Object Reference w wersjach do 5.6.9 włącznie. Dzieje się tak dlatego, że funkcja Process_step_customer() wykorzystuje funkcję is_user_logged_in() jako jedyną bramę przed połączeniem danych klienta POST z istniejącym klientem LatePoint, bez żadnej kontroli własności. Dzięki temu uwierzytelnieni atakujący, z dostępem na poziomie subskrybenta i wyższym, mogą modyfikować dane osobowe (imię, nazwisko, adres e-mail, telefon, notatki) dowolnych klientów LatePoint, a gdy ustawienie contact_merge to „telefon”, nadpisać adres e-mail ofiary i przejąć konto poprzez zresetowanie hasła.
