Niewłaściwe ograniczenie luki w zabezpieczeniach funkcji automatycznego blokowania w programie Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) dotyczącej nadmiernych prób uwierzytelnienia w wersjach wcześniejszych niż 7.2.1-69057-10, 7.2.2-72806-7 i 7.3.2-86009-2 umożliwia zdalnym atakującym odczytywanie ograniczonych plików za pomocą ataków typu brute-force.
