kontenerd to środowisko wykonawcze kontenerów typu open source. Przed wersjami 1.7.36, 2.0.13, 2.2.9, 2.3.6 i 2.4.1 spreparowany wykres indeksu OCI może wymusić bardzo duże użycie procesora/pamięci podczas PullImage (przed uruchomieniem kontenera), powodując długie przestoje w ContainerCreating i, przy większych rozmiarach, niestabilność węzła/czasu wykonywania. Wersje 1.7.36, 2.0.13, 2.2.9, 2.3.6 i 2.4.1 rozwiązują problem.
