Alchemy to silnik systemu zarządzania treścią typu open source napisany w Ruby on Rails. W wersjach wcześniejszych niż 7.4.15, 8.0.15, 8.1.14 i 8.2.6 nieuwierzytelniony punkt końcowy GET /api/pages/nested zaimplementowany przez Api::PagesController#nested w app/controllers/alchemy/api/pages_controller.rb zwraca niefiltrowane drzewo stron, ponieważ nie wykonuje autoryzacji i nie obejmuje elementów potomnych według możliwości osoby wywołującej. Anonimowi dzwoniący mogą pobierać ograniczone i niepublikowane metadane strony, które są odrzucane przez funkcję pokazywania rodzeństwa. Jeśli podano elementy=true, PageTreeSerializer zwraca również zawartość elementów i składników ze stron z ograniczeniami, ponieważ PageTreePreloader i serializator nie stosują sprawdzania zdolności do tych rekordów. Ten problem został rozwiązany w wersjach 7.4.15, 8.0.15, 8.1.14 i 8.2.6.
