Link po luce w składnikach Data Shredder w programach Norton Antivirus, Avast Antivirus i AVG Internet Security przed wersją 26.5.10933 w systemie Windows umożliwia lokalnemu atakującemu o niskich uprawnieniach eskalację uprawnień do SYSTEMU. Podczas uprzywilejowanej operacji niszczenia, umożliwienie usunięcia dowolnego pliku/folderu, które jest wykorzystywane do uzyskania uprawnień NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM.
