W wersjach Splunk SOAR poniżej 8.7.0 uwierzytelniony użytkownik może zmienić wersję Enterprise Security za pośrednictwem interfejsu API Representational State Transfer (REST) i spowodować, że Splunk SOAR zastosuje zmianę licencji.
Luka jest możliwa, ponieważ Splunk SOAR uwierzytelnia żądania zarządzania edycją Enterprise Security, ale nie autoryzuje osoby wywołującej przed zastosowaniem zmiany licencji.
