Tłumaczenie automatyczne – może zawierać nieścisłości.
W jądrze Linuksa usunięto następującą lukę:
ipmi: ipmb: sprawdź długość zapisu wiadomości
ipmb_write() odczytuje pola komunikatów przed sprawdzeniem bajtu długości.
Zapis zerowy lub krótki może odczytać niezainicjowane bajty stosu.
Długość mniejsza niż nagłówek SMBus jest mniejsza od długości zapisu bloku.
Wymagaj niepustego bufora i minimalnej długości żądania IPMB.
Wymagaj także bajtu długości i ładunku przed analizą wiadomości.
