Wtyczka „Really Simple Security” do WordPressa sprzed wersji 9.8.1 nie zapobiega resetowaniu zakończonej dwuetapowej rejestracji konta e-mail przez nieuwierzytelnione żądanie, umożliwiając osobie atakującej, która zna już hasło do konta, ominięcie drugiego czynnika i uzyskanie sesji tego użytkownika, aż do administratora.
