Wersje serwera Progress Software WS_FTP starsze niż 2024.0.7 i 2025.0.4 dla systemu Windows mogą udostępniać hasło użytkownika w postaci zwykłego tekstu innemu administratorowi, który mógłby go użyć w celu uzyskania szerszego dostępu administracyjnego do serwera.
