W GPAC do f1219cde zidentyfikowano lukę. Elementem, którego to dotyczy, jest funkcja gf_node_list_insert_child w pliku scenegraph/base_scenegraph.c komponentu Node Insertion. Taka manipulacja prowadzi do uszkodzenia pamięci. Atak może zostać przeprowadzony zdalnie. Exploit jest publicznie dostępny i może zostać wykorzystany. Aby rozwiązać ten problem, wystarczy aktualizacja do wersji abi-16.23. Nazwa poprawki to 49dee5cad329cfed310c1682703df7daa47df31a. Sugeruje się aktualizację komponentu, którego dotyczy problem.
