W 0215AndrewFeng ACE-MCP do wersji 4.10.8 wykryto słabość. Elementem, którego dotyczy problem, jest funkcja get_file_snippet pliku getFileSnippet.ts komponentu MCP Tool. Wykonanie manipulacji argumentem ProjectRootPath/filePath może prowadzić do przejścia ścieżki. Atak może zostać przeprowadzony zdalnie. Exploit został udostępniony publicznie i może zostać wykorzystany do ataków. isPathInsideProjectRoot blokuje jedynie ucieczkę filePath przed wybranym przez atakującego projektemRootPath; sam root jest niezaufanym wejściem klienta - ustaw ProjectRootPath=/etc, filePath=hosts i strażnik przechodzi. Projekt został wcześnie poinformowany o problemie poprzez raport o problemie, ale jeszcze nie udzielił odpowiedzi.
