Tłumaczenie automatyczne – może zawierać nieścisłości.
getID3 przed wersją 1.9.26 zawiera lukę umożliwiającą wstrzykiwanie poleceń systemu operacyjnego w programach obsługi powłoki, które nie potrafią uciec od nazw plików w ciągach poleceń. Atakujący mogą tworzyć złośliwe nazwy plików zawierające metaznaki powłoki, aby wstrzykiwać dowolne polecenia wykonywane z uprawnieniami procesu osadzającego getID3.
