NivoCart do wersji 2.4.0 zawiera przewidywalną lukę w zabezpieczeniach tokena resetowania hasła w punkcie końcowym Forget.php, która generuje kody odzyskiwania przy użyciu substr(md5(mt_rand()), 0, 10). Osoby atakujące, które znają adres e-mail administratora, mogą poprosić o zresetowanie hasła i przewidzieć token, aby uzyskać dostęp do konta administracyjnego bez ograniczania szybkości lub wygaśnięcia.
